2For I determined to know nothing among you except dJesus Christ, and Him crucified. 3I was with you in eweakness and in ffear and in much trembling, 4and my

message and my preaching were hnot in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of ithe Spirit and of power,

6Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are lmature; a wisdom, however, not of mthis age nor of the rulers of nthis age, who are opassing away; 7but we speak God’s wisdom in a pmystery, the hidden wisdom which God qpredestined before the rages to our glory; 8the wisdom swhich none of the rulers of tthis age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified uthe Lord of glory; 9but just as it is written, vThings which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

xFor to us God revealed them ythrough the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the zdepths of God.
11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the aaspirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12Now we abhave received, not the spirit of acthe world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13which things we also speak, adnot in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit,
Or interpreting spiritual things for spiritual men
combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

15But he who is akspiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16For al who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But amwe have the mind of Christ.
